For paintball in Reading we recommend the following centre(s):
Reading is a large town and unitary authority area in the south east region of Berkshire in England. Situated at the intersection of the River Thames and the River Kennet, Reading has a strong medieval history due to its connection both with the royals and the Church. Reading’s economy today relies heavily on the IT and insurance industries, and has a significant student population attending the two Reading universities. Because of the large student population, Reading has transformed into an exciting town with various outdoor adventure activities and an active nightlife.
Today, Reading is best known in a contemporary sense as the home of the Reading Festival, an annual music festival held during the bank holiday weekend in August. The Reading festival has been running since 1971 and is known throughout the UK and beyond as an exciting outdoor festival full of live music action. Some of the world’s best-known musicians have played at the festival, including Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Arctic Monkeys and most famously, Nirvana.
For the sports enthusiasts, Reading has a range of sporting teams competing at the professional, semi-professional and amateur levels. The most recognised Reading sports team is Reading FC, currently competing in the English Premier league and playing from the exciting Madejski Stadium. Reading, home of the London Irish rugby union team, also competes in the action-packed Guinness Premiership. Other more adventurous football variations include Gaelic Football, Australian Rules Football and American Football.
