Billericay Paintball - Juniperwood paintball centre
16 April 2009 - 8:13pm - adminDelta Force Paintball in Billericay (also known as 'Juniperwood') is located in 40 acres of plantation between Billericay and the rural village of Stock, and provides the ultimate forest-paintball experience. A huge water tower located directly to the right-hand side of the main gate serves as an unmissable landmark to help guests find the centre. With 6 varied game zones, including a two-storey Castle Wolfenstein, and the best 'Bridge too Far' zone in the UK, your visit to Juniperwood will be action-packed. Please note for anyone seeking to play paintball in London, paintball in East London or paintball in Essex this will be one of your most convenient options. Please also consider Delta Force Paintball in Upminster which has the added convenience of being just within walking distance of Upminster District Line Underground Station. The main difference between Delta Force Paintball Upminster, and Delta Force Paintball Billericay is that the Upminster centre is more 'urban' and has little forest, whereas the Billericay centre is set in a gorgeous lush forest with lots of 'jungle-style' seek and destroy possibilities. Two great choice for paintballing in Essex!

By car:
Exit the M25 at Junction 29. Take the A127, signposted Basildon. After 6 miles turn onto the A176 signposted Billericay. After 2 miles you will approach Billericay, and at the roundabout take the exit signposted Chelmsford (B1007). Follow B1007 for approximately 1 mile and after passing the A129 junction, turn right into Norsey Road. Follow this road for approx 2½ miles (Norsey Road becomes Heath Road) until you see the water tower. As soon as you see the water tower look for black gates with Paintball Centre signs on the left hand side. Turn left and after 400 yards you will come to the Paintball Centre car park.
By train:
From London Liverpool Street to Billericay train station (journey time 30 minutes). From there it's a 10 minute walk to the Paintball Centre (turn right in front of the train station, walk towards the High Street, turn right and walk over the railroad. From there, take the first left into Norsey Road and walk for approximately 2½ miles on Norsey Road and Heath Road until you see the water tower, then follow for cars). Alternatively, take an inexpensive taxi (fare is about £2.50 and journey takes 3 minutes).
