For paintball in Ipswich we recommend the following centre(s):
The town of Ipswich, located on the river Orwell in Sussex has undergone a massive facelift in the past decade. With the old commercial docks generally falling into disrepair the local council took on the challenge of cleaning up the area. With a wealth of leisure activities now available the newly built apartment blocks have seen an influx of wealthy residents. With a Mediterranean feel slowly creeping into the area, the docks are now home to a myriad of cruisers, yachts and tourists boats.
Although the docks were in need of a massive redevelopment it has come at a cost. Much of the local heritage has been lost despite attempts to have several of the buildings listed by local societies.
One of the more spectacular buildings can be found in Ipswich town centre. This glass clad building known as the Willis building sets the scene for the future of the city with its amazing architecture. In 2007 Ipswich was awarded the cleanest town award, a true testament to the pride of the local residents.
The city of Ipswich is also home to the University Campus Suffolk and the Suffolk New College. Multicultural in nature, Ipswich is now a melting pot of culture, sport, business and energetic entertainment. An exciting town, visitors will be amazed at the time and effort afforded to its regeneration. Ipswich will be an energetic and adventurous town for years to come.
