Coventry, situated 95 miles northwest of London and 19 miles east of Birmingham, is a metropolitan borough in the West Midlands. With a population of over 303,400 people Coventry is the ninth largest city in England and the eleventh largest in the UK. Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve is 200 acres of crystal clear lakes, natural woodland, marshes, and open grassland. Coventry also has its very own canal leading all the way to Hawkesbury. This canal with its very own restored 19th century Warf is aligned on both sides by 39 pieces of art, designed by 34 different artists. Cruises are run down the canal daily giving tourists a view of the longest waterside art gallery in Britain.

For the more active and adventurous Coventry offers a variety of fun sporting and leisure activities including karting, golfing, ice skating, cycling, and ten pin bowling.
