UK paintballing game zones in focus: Zombies' Crypt

The Dark Crypt is rumoured to be the home of the zombies, the dangerous, undead corpses that haunt the nearby graveyard. While the Holy Book is upon the Dark Crypt’s high altar, the zombies ravage the area attacking anyone on sight. Your mission is to take the Holy Book from the Dark Crypt’s high altar and escort the book to the zombies’ spawning point to bring peace to the area. Be warned, the zombies will stop at nothing to kill you.

The Zombies’ Crypt was only introduced to the Delta Force portfolio in 2009 and has since become one of the most popular game zones that Delta Force has to offer. An impressive two-storey church stands tall in the centre of the field surrounded by a scattering of coffins and gravestones. Inside the church lies an arrangement of pews facing an altar, behind which stands the stairs to the bell tower. Both inside the church and outside in the graveyard offer a fantastic variety of cover and terrain, perfect for paintball skirmishes.

As Zombies’ Crypt was designed to be played out using a variety of game rules, the rules tend to vary from centre to centre but ‘Sabotage’ is most commonly played. Both teams start at opposite ends of the field, equal distances from the Crypt in the centre in the field, which houses the ‘holy book’. The objective for both teams is to fight their way towards the Crypt, grab the ‘holy book’ from atop the high altar and take it to the opposing teams starting point to win the game.
