The lively and enticing town of Kilmarnock is an exciting place to visit. Featuring its attractive buildings and terrific shopping the town can, at times, be incredibly busy with action.

Kilmarnock is home to a succession of Churches with a varied past. The second of the three churches suffered a chaotic end when a section of plaster covering the roof collapsed.  In the ensuing stampede twenty nice churchgoers were killed. To restore faith the church was promptly levelled. The current church standing in its place was built with 13 exits to calm the nerves of attendees.

Kilmarnock has the oldest professional football club in Scotland. The Kilmarnock Football Club was founded in 1869; known to the locals as the Killie Football club it has a strong and loyal following.

Possessing a range of street art and statues Kilmarnock is a pleasant town to stroll around. With surrounding woodlands, visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of the main shopping strip by enjoying an afternoon stroll and a thirst quenching beer in one of Kilmarnock’s many pubs.
