Situated in the West Midlands of England, Hereford is close to the Welsh border and river Wye, upon which the cities ancient Cathedral stands. Hereford is known for its beer leather goods and cattle including the famous Hereford breed. Within the city stands the Bishops Palace, the oldest inhabited building in Britain, built in 1904 it is still in use today.



Herefords history includes the birthplace of the tongue-tingling Bulmer’s Cider Company. Originally housed in an eight-acre factory and using apples from local farmers today Bulmer’s is a world-renowned cider brand and found in millions of bars and clubs worldwide.



Visitors can enjoy an evening meal or afternoon coffee in the cities striking alleys and courtyards, which date back to the early medieval times.



Herefords unspoilt rolling woodlands were home to the British SAS until the late 1990’s. These elite soldiers were trained in special tactics and manoeuvres and spent years training to the highest level in order to see live combat in special operations.
